This course focuses on a variety of multimedia applications for tasks such as digital audio manipulation, 3-D design, stop-motion animation, and desktop publishing. Focusing on front-end web development, students learn a modern client-side scripting language that manipulates the Document Object Model to control a page's behavior and provide an interactive user experience. An introduction to programming and problem solving. Students will learn the fundamental concepts of a structured programming language and will learn to solve problems using logic and good program design. Other topics include the history of computing and number systems.
