This course is designed to ground students in the basic principles of finance and financial management, including: the analysis of financial statements to identify strengths and weaknesses; the valuation of future cash flows, stock and bonds; capital budgeting decision analysis; long-term financing and capital structure issues, and computation of return and assessment of risk for investments.
